Our new French Art Deco collection combines the bold, graphic style of Art Deco with a romantic, timeless French influence. Inspired by the decorating trend which rose to fame nearly 100 years ago, we thought we could provide a fresh, new spin on the historical style for its centennial anniversary. Shot in a classically detailed architectural space, we paired streamlined, modern pieces with sculptural, statement-making decor for a one-of-a-kind look. Today, we’re taking a deeper dive into some of our favorite looks from the campaign. Let’s dig in.

We kept the color palette simple, allowing the pieces themselves to make a statement. Our Senna Rug steals the show with its bold, geometric pattern and handwoven details. We layered a coffee table and side table to provide an added dimension and scale to the room-not to mention added surface space. Lighting is key in this look and a sculptural wall sconce adds just the right amount of character to space. Though this look is quite minimalist, layered accessories in the same tonal range give texture and visual interest to the built-in bookshelves and mantle.

A soft rug underfoot in a bedroom is essential, and our Braeburn rug is no exception. Made entirely by hand, the graphic pattern is a high-low combination of cream and varied-gray wool. The abstract, linear pattern is echoed in both the channel-tufted bed and subtle curves of the wall art. We kept the bedding clean and simple in keeping with the Art Deco style, with soft linen sheets and a pop of color and texture in the mohair throw.

All pieces from the French Art Deco collection are meant to be statement-makers, either on their own or combined together in a space. Our Belmont sofa features a rounded back and rich velvet fabric-we paired it here with an extra-long lumbar pillow for a fresh look. The textured, cozy Renzo chair is just as comfortable as it is eye-catching, featuring soft curves in a shearling inspired fabric. An ultra-low coffee table and sculptural wooden accent chair round out the look.

Rich textural accents-think honed marble, sumptuous velvet and metallic gold-contribute to the overall luxe feel of this space. A handmade rug and caned Hannah cabinet keep the overall look accessible with warm tones of cream and camel. A sculptural light fixture in matte black gives a graphic edge next to a traditional, vintage inspired oil painting. This dining room is all about symmetry and balancing the mix of modern and old-world that makes this look so dynamic.

Sculptural curves and rounded edges are a big departure from the traditional Art Deco aesthetic. Here, the romantic French influence comes into play. The subtle curves in an accent chair and Saban sofa complement each other perfectly and contribute to the overall coziness of the space. Layering two different accent tables works when the tables are similar in either texture or color-here the subtle metallic sheen on each makes them feel like a set. The pop of color in the chair and bolster pillow is reflected in the wall art, giving the space an overall sense of balance.
