Holidays at Home
Imagine yourself walking down historic, shop-lined streets, hiking to catch breathtaking views of the river, and watching the sun dip behind snow-capped peaks from the porch before heading inside, hot drink in hand. That vision of the Hudson Valley in upstate New York, with its rustic charm and vintage farmhouses, was the inspiration behind our Holiday Collection. It is a line of pared-down furniture pieces in rich wood finishes, inviting and tactile linens, and festive, lustrous accents to fill your space with the timeless style, warmth, and cheer of a cozy holiday celebration.
As we navigate the uncertainty this year has brought, we understand being home for the holidays takes on so much more meaning this season. That is why we are so excited to share our Holiday Collection with you—so that it provides a spark as you plan your virtual family dinners, choose gifts to travel back to your hometown with, or host intimate get-togethers. This season, let us help you create a space to rest and celebrate with the ones you love, no matter the distance.
Take an informal and more intimate approach with your holiday dinner table this year. Vintage-inspired glasses, organic-shaped dinnerware, and linen napkins add a refined touch but are also versatile enough to be used every day. Made from a durable jute-wool blend, the Khloe Rug is a texture-rich and tonal area rug that complements a darker wood finished dining table and chairs well. For the final decorating flourish, we love this Rosemary Wreath—it’s a fragrant and lush piece that layers in understated holiday cheer.
Keep Spirits Bright
A curio cabinet, hutch, or enclosed bookcase is ideal for keeping a well-stocked bar close at hand while maintaining a clean, minimal look in your dining or living room. This lofty oak cabinet has plenty of space to stow your favorite spirits, glassware, and bar extras like shakers, stirrers, and bitters. The glass doors put your bottles on display and its black finish pairs well with the heathered gray Khloe Rug for a rustic yet polished style. We added in the Seeded Eucalyptus Garland to enliven the look with its verdant color and fresh scent.
The smell of freshly-baked treats emanating from the kitchen is comforting year-round, but especially so during the holiday season. Whether it is a traditional family dish, a new recipe from your favorite bakery, the idea of snacking on sweets brings such immediate joy. Curate your kitchen to make it host-ready by layering in a simple wreath and durable flatweave rug. This hand-cut and arranged Seeded Eucalyptus Wreath adds a hint of the holiday cheer, while the runner size of the Joelle Rug, with its fringe detailing and earthy two-tone design, is a stylish upgrade to your kitchen mat.
Life of the Party
Hosting friends and family this year, even if it is a smaller and more intimate gathering, is cause for celebration. We loved the moody look of this space and envisioned nights gathered around the tree, toasting champagne glasses, listening to holiday tunes, and dimming the sconce lighting to set the scene. The focal point of the room is the Elvie Chaise: its clean-lined design and velvet upholstery lend eye-catching style, and its plush bench cushion and bolster pillows make for an ideal post-meal lounging corner or extra sleeping spot for guests who decide to spend the night. Its sleek mink color complements this darker tone of the Joelle Rug.
We enjoyed updating the look of traditional decorations and trim when designing our Holiday Collection. Classic pieces feature new materials, finishes, and techniques, like these freshly-cut floral garlands and wreaths, hand-carved and painted wooden ornaments, and hand-sewn linen stockings with leather tabs. For this living room, we mixed and matched different stocking patterns while sticking to a neutral color palette to give it a distinctive and cheerful feel. Accents like this hand-knotted and supersoft Uma Rug, vintage cloth decorative pillows, and artisan-made ceramics add an abundance of texture.
Be Your Guest
As the weather gets colder, turn your bed into a refuge. The Maison Platform Bed, with its tall upholstered headboard and vibrant forest velvet upholstery, is the perfect backdrop to layer on extra coverlets, throws, and bed covers that you can mix and match. We wanted to keep a neutral palette and play with texture and tones, both on the bed with a colorful decorative pillow and under it, with the Uma Rug and its subtle geometric design, taupe color, and soft pile. We finished curating the look with a round tray—this luxe guest room touch is a great way to make your bed feel a little more cozy and special during the holidays.
