Behind the Scenes

Our Office Kitchen Makeover

Welcome to Lulu and Georgia Headquarters! When we first moved into our Art Deco office building in February, we set our sights on tackling the kitchen straight away. We started from scratch (there was no existing kitchen in the office) and wanted to make the space feel true to the style of the building. Read more for info about the makeover!

The foundation of the kitchen was the emerald green tile from Cle Tile.  The tile is handmade and beauitfully glazed so that each piece is unique. We love the way the light reflects from the windows on the tile - it adds so much to the space.

We worked with Semihandmade to give our IKEA Cabinents a sleek update. We simple configured the kitchen using IKEA plan white cabinents and Semihandmade sent us doorfronts for a custom look. We went for the matte black fronts from their shaker collection and we couldn't be happier about drama it adds.
Our refridgerator, dishwasher, and microwave from Cafe Appliances are the prettiest appliances out there. There are options for finishes and handles so that the appliances actually are a part of the design.

The countertops from Caesarstone polish off the space. We went with this stone top which It gives the look of calcutta marble but is so much more durable which is essential for our well-used kitchen.
