Cara Loren's Whimsical Nursery

It's no secret that we're big fans of Cara VanBrocklin - creator of the fashion and lifestyle site, Caraloren.com, Cara's wallpaper line for Lulu and Georgia was one of our favorite projects. When we heard news that she was expecting a little girl, we knew that we had to be involved in her nursery. The wildflower wallpaper was a starting point that Cara wanted to design the space around. From there, we added woven textures and vintage-inspired details to bring a cozy, whimsy to the room. The result is a bright, playful space perfect for Baby Echo to grow in. Cara's son, Arrow, and baby Echo

Describe your style in 3 words.

Cozy, fun, inviting

Linen or velvet?

I would usually say velvet, but I'm currently into linen, especially with the warmer weather coming up.

Favorite way to unwind sans kiddos?

Relaxing in my sweats with my favorite treats and a new series I'm loving.

Where are you dying to travel to?

Somewhere...anywhere warm! Having a baby has made it a little tough to travel lately and I'm craving warm weather.

The colorful blooms on the wallpaper really drove my inspiration for the space. I wanted the room to feel cozy and vintage, but also bright and cheery.
