Merchandiser Coordinator

Lulu & Georgia is looking for an organized, detail oriented and hard-working Merchandise Coordinator to join our growing team! You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where multitasking and problem solving are key. This position requires great attention to detail and excellent organization. You will implement organizational systems and structure to ensure the timely delivery and coordination of products. In this role, you’ll report to our Senior Director of Merchandise and work closely with buying teams, customer service teams, and creative teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage SKU set up and build sheet maintenance according to current category assortment
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that product copy, images, and video are consistent with established standards
  • Own go-live timing of new SKUs based on campaign, inventory and production schedules. Monitor weekly inventory (perform manual sync when necessary) and proactively reach out to cross-functional partners to ensure product launches are on time with 100% inventory according to marketing campaign dates
  • Handle CS requests daily
  • Drive requests and organization to creative partners for copy, product images and product lifestyle to support sales goals and monitor timeline of asset needs. Drive requests to vendors for product images when necessary
  • Execute different merchandising strategies across user segments, channels and products
  • Execute conversion-driving tests
  • Respond to sales, re-merchandise site and proactively look ahead to future campaigns to react to customer demand

Design Specialist

Lulu and Georgia is looking for a Design Specialist to add to our growing design team. This person should love the design world and its ever-changing nature. You will assist customers in designing their dream space using L+G products in mood boards and floor plans. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an organized and sales-forward thinking mind. This is a sales-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Host one on one virtual design consultations with clients
  • Create stylish and on-brand designs with the use of mood boards and floor plans
  • Provide clients with a VIP customer service experience, i.e. for product questions, order tracking, and returns

Strategic Finance Analyst

Lulu and Georgia is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join the Finance & Operations teams. The ideal candidate has a background in FP&A, knowledge of SQL and data analysis, and ability to work cross-functionally with many teams. This person enjoys modeling, big data sets, and thinking about process improvements and other business efficiencies.

The Strategic Finance Analyst will report to the CFO/COO and work closely with multiple teams, including Accounting, Technology, Operations, and Buying.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the executive team to oversee company KPIs such as gross margin analysis, customer retention and buying metrics, operational and return analysis
  • Work with Technology team to continue building, maintaining, and improving real-time, data-driven, analytical reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver diagnostic insights across the organization, automating where possible
  • Work on strategic process improvements and ERP implementation-related tasks
  • Serve as the Finance counterpart in department budget review meetings. Build relationships with budget owners to help them manage their department plans, while understanding the drivers behind their portions of the business

NetSuite Administrator

Lulu and Georgia is looking for an experienced NetSuite Administrator who can combine technical knowledge with business logic to implement solutions to help optimize our ecosystem and support our growth. You will be responsible for understanding our NetSuite architecture to standardize processes, create new workflows / configurations, and support ongoing business needs through third-party integrations, customizations, and implement new features as Lulu and Georgia scales. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Product.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the NetSuite application, system controls, and proper system access for all roles
  • Plan, review, and revise configurations and customizations of NetSuite in order to support business needs
  • Design, implement, and maintain configurations and workflows to support and improve business processes
  • Integrate third party tools and new vendors, as-needed
  • Identify solutions to solve business needs through new configurations, workflows, or customizations, including evaluating the need for technical support
  • Work directly with internal/external developers, NetSuite and/or other Professional Services organization to drive and coordinate larger (more complex) NetSuite projects while assisting with configuration and other work as assigned
  • Provide front line support and troubleshooting with regards to all aspects of NetSuite and data integrity; participate in issue resolution and root cause analysis; and evaluate up and downstream impacts

Merchandise Planner

Lulu and Georgia is looking for an organized, detail oriented and hard-working Merchandise Planner to join our growing team!  You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where multitasking and problem solving are key. This position requires great attention to detail and excellent organization.  This role will report to the Director of Merchandise Planners and will partner with the Buyers in driving sales, optimizing inventory, and generating profit.

Responsibilities:

  • Create preseason sales, margin and inventory plans by department, class, style, and color.  Analyze previous quarter results; identify “missed sales” and growth drivers over prior year.
  • Summarize the opportunity and risk of a product plan as it relates to trend and financial metrics: initial mark-up, average unit retail, average unit cost, net margin dollars/rate.
  • Recommend style count, cc count and flow of goods for optimal margin results within a half.
  • Collaborate with Director of Planning to develop & present the financial strategy associated with growth and diminish categories to cross-functional team in quarterly investment review meetings based on current trend, historical findings, or related categories.
  • Communicate support for style level buys as it relates to current trend, historical findings, or related categories.
  • Provide daily and weekly updates on business as it relates to last forecast, identifying trends, and highlighting selling that exceeds or falls short of expectation.
  • Initiate conversations with cross functional partners regarding potential risk or opportunities
  • Prepare sales, margin and inventory forecast for monthly OTB forecast meetings for current year; provide sales trend opportunity for future quarters, validate stock-to-sales relationships, maximize receipt flow to improve turn, reconcile receipts and suggest pricing strategies to drive profitability.
  • Monitor basic style selling trends and partner with Assistant Planner to select monthly order quantities.
  • Partner with Buyer to propose markdown and promotional strategies to maximize profitability on the life of an item or category; provide pricing and margin dollar gain/loss scenarios.

Buyer - Tabletop and Decorative Accessories

Lulu and Georgia is seeking a buyer to join our team. The Buyer is responsible for creating a unique and timely product assortment that meets or exceeds the sales volume and profits for the Tabletop and Decorative Accessories categories.  The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with experience in the home decor buying world. This candidate will enjoy a startup mentality and environment that changes day to day. They should possess a passion for home decor as well as a strong grasp of merchandising financials. The Buyer will work to create the appropriate merchandise mix based on emerging market trends, along with meeting the assortment strategies established by management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a merchandise assortment plan with Planning that supports the financial and merchandising objectives.
  • Participate in weekly open-to-buy meetings  to ensure the department achieves financial targets for turn and sell-through goals
  • Negotiate buying terms with suppliers (selection, price, quantity, and delivery terms) and develop pipeline of sales events
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners such as Production and Designers in order to make sure designs are adoptable, costs are measured, and concepts are clearly defined
  • Support Planning in all operational aspects of assigned product lines, delivery schedules, performance measurement, and inventory management.

  • Update and track order request from the Buying & Products Teams.
  • Act as liaison to Customer Experience team on stock availability.
  • Maintaining the data entry of inventory units across multiple fulfilment models. 
  • Gather and consolidate data for quarterly reports that include % Contribution, Item Margin, & Royalty Commissions Reports. 
  • Quantify unit need for reorders as needed. 
  • Work with vendors on the alignment of reserve stock inventory and alert Merchandise Planners of discrepancies or low units.

 Production Operations Coordinator

Lulu and Georgia is looking for an organized, detail oriented and hard-working Production Operations Coordinator to join our growing team! You will implement organizational systems and structure to ensure the timely delivery and coordination of products. In this role, you’ll report to our Director of Product and work closely with our international production teams, warehouses, and importation partners. This is a great role for someone who is interested in product production, logistics, supply chain and the international economic market.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Product Development Department, including the coordination of receiving containers, transfers, samples, and photoshoot samples for furniture and lighting
  • Create project status reports for incoming shipments, or WIP management
  • Reorder existing in-line product, build containers, and assess containerization for all intended POs, and enter purchase orders into ERP system
  • Manage and track all communication, and production schedule as it relates to incoming shipments, and production of ordered merchandise
  • Oversee maintenance of incoming inventory sheets, update the system with units availability by date
  • Work closely with merchandising planner to communicate availability of preorder units
  • Work closely with warehouses and operations to insure timely receipts of merchandise, and communicate to all relevant departments
  • Organize project details for product development items; updates, file specifications, and communication with our international suppliers
  • Work with the Director of Product on projects that require coordination between departments and international sourcing offices to usher projects through the developmental process, launch phase, and early lifecycle.
  • Inspect, label, and file production samples for textiles and rugs, furniture, and wallcoverings
  • Ensure that product specifications meet requirements for design, packaging and assembly
  • Maintain file for incoming sample inventory - approvals, rejections, and alterations made
