Bequia Wallpaper
Multidisciplinary artist and activist Malene Barnett's work envisions a contemporary Black experience rooted in the cultural and artistic traditions of the African diaspora. Her Kindred Collection, exclusive to Lulu and Georgia, reinterprets her hand-built ceramic vessels as tactile paper wall styles. The blue tones and ripple-like design of the Bequia Wallpaper are inspired by the Caribbean Sea and create a soothing, meditative look - perfect for curating your bedroom or dining room.

Malene Barnett Kindred Collection
Malene Barnett is a Brooklyn-based artist, activist, and authority on the cultural and artistic traditions in the African diaspora. Drawing inspiration from the community of makers who built and preserved the legacy of these traditions, her ceramic work explores and expands on the idea of clay as a tool for liberation. Her Kindred Collection with us translates the hand-built clay vessels into a new medium, wallpapers. Each geometric wallpaper pattern is unique and channels ancestral pattern-making techniques.
