✔️ Refresh Your Bathroom

We recommend you start in your guest bathroom. As our Creative Director mentioned in her conversation over our Fall Editorial, "My number one tip is just to always clean your bathroom. People stress out that guests will judge your clutter or the mess your kid made," but the reality is properly cleaning your guest bathroom is much more critical. Swap in new bath accessories and refill soap and lotion dispensers, cotton jars, and tissue holders. Finally, upgrade your towels, mats, and shower curtains; those soft, premium linens allow you to pamper your guests a bit.

✔️ Elevate Their Morning Routine

Good hospitality lies in the details—simple gestures like elevating your guests' morning cup of coffee or tea make all the difference. Think of a piece like this brass and marble pour-over stand or a stoneware teapot with refined details. ✔️ Pile On Layers of Texture

You'll want to bring in as many soft, textural linens as possible in your actual guest bedroom. Opt for lightweight styles that can be layered easily, from cotton bed covers to linen duvets. Finish the look by curating your decor with plush, patterned long lumbar pillows or knit throws. On the nightstand, leave an artful carafe set and an extra charger. If you want to leave some extra reading materials, a magazine rack is a compact option to place bedside as well.

✔️ Introduce A Warm, Aromatic Scent

We also love the idea of placing a scented candle on your guest room nightstand or dresser. Lighting a candle or using an incense holder is an easy way to put your visitors at ease, and its amber glow creates an ambiance. Our tip is to opt for one scented candle and then add on more unscented options for more accent lighting. Or, you can utilize a diffuser with essential oils made with all-natural fragrances instead.

✔️ Place Floral Arrangements All Over

We like to buy a few simple arrangements or bundles of freshly cut flowers and sprinkle them throughout the house. One in the entryway, one on the dining room sideboard, one on the living room coffee table, and another in the bathroom.
