The Babs Seating Collection by Sarah Sherman Samuel at Lulu and Georgia is defined by its channel tufting — vertical rows of stitching that create a neatly stacked, architectural quality across each piece. The Babs Sofa ($4,798) and Babs Corner Sectional ($8,798) anchor the living room in this distinctive silhouette, while the Babs Accent Chair ($2,448) brings the same tufted form to a single seat. The Babs Ottoman ($1,298) completes the group as both a footrest and a low surface for trays or objects. The collection is exclusive to Lulu and Georgia through the ongoing Sarah Sherman Samuel collaboration, available in multiple upholstery options. Babs reads as design-forward without being cold — the channel tufting adds structure, but the upholstery and proportions keep the seating welcoming.
What is the Babs Seating Collection by Sarah Sherman Samuel?
The Babs Collection is an exclusive seating line by Sarah Sherman Samuel, available only at Lulu and Georgia. Its defining feature is channel tufting — vertical stitch rows that create a neatly layered, architectural look across the sofa, sectional, chair, and ottoman. The collection is available in multiple upholstery options through the Lulu and Georgia x Sarah Sherman Samuel collaboration.
What pieces are in the Babs Collection?
The Babs Seating Collection at Lulu and Georgia includes the Babs Sofa ($4,798), Babs Corner Sectional Sofa ($8,798), Babs Accent Chair ($2,448), and Babs Ottoman ($1,298). All four pieces share the collection's channel-tufted profile and are available in multiple fabric options, allowing the full group to coordinate or individual pieces to be mixed into an existing seating arrangement.
What makes the Babs Collection distinctive among Sarah Sherman Samuel's designs?
Among Sarah Sherman Samuel's exclusive seating collections at Lulu and Georgia, Babs is the most architecturally graphic — the channel tufting gives it a vertical rhythm that reads clearly from across the room. Where the Viisi Sectional and Nelja Sofa rely on low profiles and curved silhouettes, Babs is more upright and structured. It works well in rooms with strong architectural bones, or as the strongest visual element in a more restrained space.
