Storage + Organization

Good storage is invisible — it removes friction from the way you use a room without drawing attention to itself. At Lulu and Georgia, the storage and organization collection brings together baskets and bins, decorative boxes and trays, wall shelving and cabinets, storage ottomans, and furniture with built-in storage — objects chosen for visual quality as much as function, because storage that looks considered makes the whole room look considered.

What storage and organization products does Lulu and Georgia carry?

The collection includes woven baskets and storage bins in natural fiber and cotton rope, lidded boxes and decorative storage boxes, wall shelving and floating shelves, storage ottomans with hidden interior compartments, media consoles and sideboards with concealed storage, bar cabinets, and office storage. Materials span woven seagrass and rattan, wood and lacquer, leather and woven fabric.

What is the best way to organize a living room?

Start by identifying what needs to be stored in the living room — throws, remotes, books, charging cables, games — and work backward to the right vessel for each. A large floor basket for throws, a tray on the coffee table for remotes and small objects, a lidded box for anything you want accessible but hidden. Keep frequently used objects within reach; store rarely used objects out of sight. Edit what’s on display to what you genuinely want to look at.

How do I make storage look intentional in a room?

Choose storage objects that work aesthetically as well as functionally — a seagrass basket that looks good empty is a better choice than a plastic bin that only works when full. Consistent material or color across multiple storage pieces reads as designed rather than accumulated. Label or group baskets on a shelf by room or function so you can find things quickly without opening everything. Storage that is organized on the outside tends to stay organized on the inside.
