Bath Towels + Linens

A good bath towel is one of those daily-use objects that, once upgraded, is hard to go back on. At Lulu and Georgia, the bath towels and linens collection spans Turkish cotton, waffle-weave, linen, and terry cloth towels in bath, hand, and washcloth sizes — in a palette of quiet neutrals and warmer tones chosen for the way they look folded and hung as much as for how they feel. Each chosen for weight, softness, and the way the material performs over time and repeated washing.

What bath towel materials does Lulu and Georgia carry?

The collection includes Turkish cotton bath towels in plush terry and flat-weave styles, waffle-weave cotton and linen towels, linen and linen-blend towels for a lighter hand feel, and traditional terry cloth in heavier weights. Turkish cotton is long-staple and known for its softness, durability, and quick-drying properties. Waffle-weave towels are lighter and more textural; linen towels are highly absorbent and soften significantly with each wash.

How do I care for high-quality bath towels?

Wash new towels before first use to activate the fibers. Machine wash in warm water on a gentle cycle; tumble dry on low or medium. Avoid fabric softener — it coats the fibers and reduces absorbency over time. For waffle-weave and linen towels, air-drying or low heat preserves texture. Shake towels before folding to restore fluffiness. Most high-quality cotton and linen towels improve with the first five to ten washes as fibers open and soften.

What towel sizes does Lulu and Georgia carry?

The collection includes bath towels (typically 30×58 to 35×70 inches), bath sheets (larger, around 35×70 to 40×80 inches), hand towels, washcloths, and fingertip towels in most styles. Sets including multiple sizes are available in many collections. Specific dimensions are noted on each product page. For a hotel-style presentation, oversized bath sheets folded over a towel bar or stacked on a stool tend to read as more luxurious than standard-sized towels.
